    Saltwater Celtic Music Festival, 2012
Cara and I are suckers for celtic music, so we couldn't resist a chance to see Searson and Enter the Haggis at an event in Maine. Of course, it didn't hurt that we would be introduced to the music of The Press Gang, Sprag Session, Chrissy Crowley and Carbon Leaf.

    Wedding Day Photos
Things were mostly wonderful on June 9th. I went for a 5K run along the Waterfront to clear my head in the morning, the weather was perfect, the wedding ceremony was beautiful and Cara's cupcakes were a hit at the reception.

    Wedding Day Run through Burlington
For those of you who don't know yet, I'm getting married in a few hours, right here in Burlington, Vermont. I've been asked a few times if I'm nervous or if I'm getting cold feet or something. I'm not and I haven't, but it makes me wonder. Am I supposed to be nervous? Is there something wrong with me?

KeyBank Vermont City Marathon, 2012 – from the Sidelines
I had hoped to compete in this marathon, but I have yet to master the art of [wearing spikes on my shoes and stomping through snow banks]({{site.baseurl}}all-kinds-of-weather/ "All Kinds of Weather"). Instead, I was a grateful spectator. How could I not be?

MVP Health Care YAM Scram, 2012 – from the Sidelines
The folks at RunVermont asked me to get some video of this kids race, and of course I agreed. I guess I made myself into a resource after sharing all of my content from the Champ on Church Fun Run. Not that I’m complaining. A youth event is perfect for me as a spectator, since I don’t feel bad for not participating.

    Sweaty Mornings of Summer
Well, it’s happened. The days I was hoping for have finally arrived, with all their benefits and consequences. It’s hot outside. Nice and hot. Just like back home, only there it was like this three months ago.
  • Channing and Quinn in Burlington

    Channing and Quinn in Burlington
Last night we walked downtown to see Channing and Quinn, a band that we had last seen in Charlotte, NC. I’m on their┬ámailing list, so imagine my surprise when I found out they were coming to Burlington!
  • More Zombies for my iPhone

    More Zombies for my iPhone
I don't know what's been going on with me lately, but I've had an eye for zombie products. I already have a running game about zombies, but now I have a nice compliment for it. A weather app.
  • Running from Zombies Every Morning

    Running from Zombies Every Morning
Lately I've been running from zombies every morning to gather supplies for a small settlement of post-apocalyptic survivors. I know, it sounds like more crazy talk. No surprises there, but I'm serious about the zombies. They're virtually wheezing down my neck me every morning. And of course, like any reasonable person, I've been running away.

Champ on Church Fun Run, 2012 – from the Sidelines
I was walking Cara to work when I saw a race registration table down the street. We had walked down to Church street and I had already run 10K that morning, so I had no illusions about participating. Still, I had to know what was going on.
